Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence to turn data into actionable insights for state Medicaid programs and executives.

The role requires expertise in analytics, data modeling, and BI tooling, with strong communication and mentoring skills. You will work with Qlikview, QlikSense, SQL Server tools, Oracle SQL Developer, Tableau, SAS, and Power BI to build reporting applications and data models.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, CS, IS, math or related field.
• 5+ years in analytics, data modeling or BI; master’s degree optional.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or R is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create applications and data models for reporting needs using BI tools.
• Identify inter-department dependencies and downstream impacts.
• Extract, transform and load data from various sources.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools.
• Lead data validation to ensure integrity and reliability.
• Provide insights to streamline analytics processes.
• Serve as analytics contact for audits and legislative inquiries.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and mentor teammates.
