Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Developer, Business Intelligence to turn data into insights across state Medicaid programs. You’ll apply analytics, data modeling, and BI best practices to deliver reporting solutions for managers and executives.

Strong communication and quick learning are essential in this detail-oriented role. You will work with BI tools like Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS and Power BI, manage data validation, and mentor teammates while collaborating with state

Qualifications

• BA/BS in analytics, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent
• 5+ years analytics/data modeling/BI experience; or 3+ years with a master's degree
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI) and data visualization
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R; strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create data models and reporting applications
• Identify dependencies and downstream impacts of reporting changes
• Extract, transform and load data from diverse sources
• Adapt to evolving BI needs in a high-growth organization
• Ensure data validation and data integrity
• Provide insights to streamline analytics processes and drive improvements
• Serve as analytics SME for audits and stakeholder inquiries
• Lead meetings with internal and state stakeholders; mentor teammates
