Navitus is seeking a Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence to turn data into actionable insights for managers, stakeholders, and executives within state Medicaid programs. The role emphasizes detail orientation, analytical thinking, and clear communication in a fast-growing environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in analytics/BI or 3+ years with a master's degree, with strong experience in BI tools and data visualization. Remote-friendly, with standard M-F hours in the US.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher in analytics, data science, or related field preferred.
• Five years with BA/BS or three years with master's degree in analytics, data modeling, or BI preferred.
• Experience with BI tools Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or similar; SQL/Python/R preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Able to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Create reporting applications and data models using BI tools.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of reporting changes.
• Extract, Transform and Load data from multiple sources.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a fast-growing org.
• Lead data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Serve as analytics SME and mentor teammates; support state audits and inquiries.
