Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence to transform data into insights and support decision-making for managers and executives. The role demands strong analytics, communication skills, and rapid learning in a growing environment.

The candidate will build data models, validate data, and collaborate with stakeholders across state Medicaid programs to deliver reliable reporting and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on analytics or related field; five years of experience with BA/BS or three with a master’s is preferred.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI) is required.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or R is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create applications and data models for reporting needs using BI tools.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes.
• Extract, Transform and Load data from various sources.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools.
• Lead data validation to ensure integrity and reliability.
• Provide insights to streamline analytics processes and improve research.
• Serve as analytics point of contact for audits and inquiries.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and SMEs; mentor teammates.
• Other duties as assigned.
