Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence to join our team.

This expert role combines theory and practice to identify data-driven insights for managers, stakeholders, and executives within state Medicaid programs to inform decisions. The candidate will be detail oriented, analytical, a skilled communicator, and a quick learner with experience in analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or equivalent education preferred
• Five years of experience with BA/BS or three years with master's degree in analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence preferred
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or other BI software and/or data visualization; knowledge of SQL, Python or R preferred
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues

Responsibilities

• Create applications and data models for reporting needs using QlikView, QlikSense, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer and other tools
• Identify dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting applications
• Extract, Transform and Load data from various data sources
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a high-growth organization
• Lead data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability
• Identify opportunities to streamline analytics processes and improve research
• Serve as analytics point of contact for state audits and legislative inquiries
• Lead meetings with internal and state stakeholders and SMEs
• Mentor teammates and other business areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
