Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks a Sr. Developer, BI to advance data-driven insights for managers and executives across the organization. The role combines analytics, data modeling and reporting to support Medicaid program decisions.

The candidate will leverage BI tools and SQL-based platforms, ensuring data integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams and state stakeholders. A strong communication skill set is essential.

Qualifications

BA/BS or higher in analytics, CS, IS, math or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience with BA/BS or 3 years with master’s in analytics, data modeling or BI preferred.
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI) required; knowledge of SQL, Python or R preferred.

Responsibilities

Create applications and data models for reporting needs using BI tools.
Identify dependencies and downstream impacts of reporting changes.
ETL data from various data sources (Extract, Transform, Load).
Adapt to evolving reporting needs and new BI tools in a high-growth org.
Ensure data validation and data integrity across analytics processes.
Provide insights to streamline analytics processes and improvement opportunities.
Serve as analytics point of contact for audits and inquiries (state, legislative).
Lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including state stakeholders.
Mentor teammates and SMEs in analytics practices.
Other duties as assigned.
