Job summary

Navitus is seeking a Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence in Austin (remote option). The role combines theory and practice to identify data-driven insights for managers and executives to make informed decisions within the Medicaid program.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator with experience in analytics, data modeling, and BI tools like Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, and Power BI. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher in analytics, CS, IS, math, stats or equivalent
• Five years BA/BS analytics experience or three years with a master’s degree
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI) and data viz; SQL/Python/R preferred
• Support compliance program objectives and collaborate respectfully with team

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs
• Identify dependencies and downstream impacts of changes in reporting apps
• ETL data from various data sources
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools
• Ensure data validation and integrity
• Provide insights to streamline analytics processes
• Serve as analytics SME for audits and stakeholder inquiries
• Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor teammates and other business areas
• Other duties as assigned
