Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in New Orleans, LA seeks a Sales Consultant to visit accounts, conduct consultative sales conversations, and drive revenue growth. Build trusted relationships, identify growth opportunities, and develop growth plans with a CRM-driven approach.

You will maintain deep product knowledge, propose solutions, and adapt your approach to each customer’s buying style while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams for growth.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Able to analyze and understand data and information.
• Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities.
• Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals.
• Able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
• Discover and identify customer growth needs.
• Develop a customer growth plan and pipeline of selling opportunities.
• Analyze data to increase sales and growth.
• Pre-plan account visits with agenda and selling opportunities documented in CRM.
• Prioritize activities to achieve objectives per growth plan.
• Visit accounts regularly and document notes in CRM.
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and present them effectively.
• Propose selling solutions and close sales using consultative skills.
• Meet internal objectives and support supplier goals.
• Resolve customer issues and drive additional opportunities.
• Adapt selling approach to customer needs and buying styles.
• Stay informed about competitors and product positioning.
• Document and maintain account information in CRM.
• Attend sales meetings and training as required.
