Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits in Baton Rouge is seeking a Sales Consultant to visit customers, conduct consultative conversations, and grow revenue through trusted relationships.

You will leverage data, stay current on SGWS products, and align with supplier goals while delivering tailored solutions to client needs. This role requires travel, a proactive mindset, and a focus on results.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older with ability to analyze data.
• Proficient with SGWS technology and CRM tools.
• Ability to present product proposals and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
• Discover and identify customer business growth needs.
• Develop a customer growth plan and pipeline to drive incremental sales.
• Analyze data to increase sales and achieve objectives.
• Pre-plan account visits with an agenda and selling opportunities in CRM.
• Visit accounts regularly, capture notes, and build visit plans in CRM.
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and position them in accounts.
• Propose selling solutions and win sales using consultative skills.
• Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.
• Resolve customer issues and seek opportunities to support their needs.
• Adapt selling approach based on customer buying styles and needs.
• Stay current with competitors and SGWS positioning.
• Document account information in CRM and attend meetings/events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
