Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits seeks a Sales Consultant to visit customers, conduct consultative conversations, and grow sales revenue. Build trust-based relationships, develop growth plans, and manage opportunities in CRM. Travel as needed and stay sharp on product knowledge and competitive positioning.

You will frequently analyze data, present compelling proposals, and close business with a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and able to travel as needed.
• Ability to analyze data and information and leverage SGWS technology.
• Capable of building customer presentations and proposals.
• Proficient with mobile devices and professional online communication.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
• Discover and identify customer growth needs and plan business growth.
• Develop account growth plans and build a pipeline of selling opportunities.
• Analyze data to increase sales and achieve objectives.
• Pre‑plan visits with agenda and selling opportunities documented in CRM.
• Prioritize activities to achieve objectives per growth plan.
• Visit accounts, capture notes, and document in CRM.
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and present them effectively.
• Propose selling solutions and close sales using consultative selling.
• Meet internal objectives and support supplier goals.
• Resolve customer issues and identify additional opportunities.
• Adapt selling approach to customer buying styles.
• Stay current with competitors and SGWS positioning.
• Document all account information in CRM and participate in meetings.
