Job summary

State of Missouri’s MO HealthNet Division seeks a Benefit Program Senior Specialist in Jefferson City, MO. The role oversees six staff in the AR and HIPP units within the Third-Party Liability Operations Unit, guiding training, policy interpretation, and timely task completion.

You will work with a dedicated team, manage monthly meetings, and collaborate to improve daily operations and business processes while generating cost-saving and cash collection reports using Excel.

Qualifications

• This position requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable processes is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise six team members in the HIPP and AR units of the TPL Operations Unit.
• Provide training and guidance on policy interpretation and task execution.
• Conduct monthly Engage and annual Reflect meetings with all team members.
• Plan and facilitate team meetings and participate in other required meetings.
• Collaborate with the TPL Operations Manager to improve processes and address issues.
• Work across multiple systems and Excel to compile monthly cost savings and cash collection reports.
• Maintain relationships with employees, managers, participants, insurers, and third-party vendors.
