Job summary

MO HealthNet Division in Jefferson City, MO, seeks a Benefit Program Senior Specialist to supervise six employees in the Third-Party Liability (TPL) Operations Unit, including the Health Insurance Premium Payment Program and Accounts Receivable.

You will train staff, interpret policies, and generate monthly reports while coordinating with the TPL Manager to enhance daily operations. This is a responsible, independent role with pension and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
• Ability to work in a highly independent manner and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise six team members in the HIPP unit and Accounts Receivable within the TPL Operations Unit.
• Collaborate with team members to provide training and interpret policies.
• Conduct monthly Engage and annual Reflect meetings with all assigned staff.
• Plan and facilitate team meetings and attend other meetings as needed.
• Work with the TPL Operations Manager to improve processes and address issues promptly.
• Utilize multiple computer systems and Excel to compile monthly reports on cost savings and cash collections.
• Maintain relationships with employees, managers, participants, and insurers.
