Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Senior LIS Beaker specialist to provide technical leadership for Beaker configuration and workflows within the Lab Information Systems (LIS) team. The role focuses on Beaker CP/AP implementation, risk reduction for build errors, and ongoing maintenance after live deployment.

Remote work from most US locations is possible. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and Epic Beaker AP/CP certification, with additional experience in project management and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Epic Beaker AP/CP certification is required.
• Project Management experience is nice to have.
• Experience with Data Innovations and JIRA is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, installs, configures, and/or develops software to support clinical and operational workflows.
• Analyzes clinical or operational workflows and their relation to the technical environment.
• May perform analysis and design of supporting technical infrastructures.
• Supports clinical, administrative, financial, revenue, or operational implementations for assigned products, including testing, QA, reporting, and training users.
• Assists with onboarding and training as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned.
