Job summary

UCSF is seeking an APeX Beaker Analyst (P2) to support and maintain Beaker within Epic EHR. The role involves collaboration with Beaker and LIS teams across UCSF locations, with a focus on clinical pathology and anatomic pathology modules.

The candidate should have a health IT/CS background, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and be prepared to obtain Beaker CP/AP certification within six months of hire. This position falls under Health IT and offers flexible, multi-site work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
• One to two years of relevant work experience
• Working knowledge of clinical applications systems across development, implementation, support, and testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose issues and provide timely solutions.
• Interpersonal and customer-service skills to collaborate and support clinical staff.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication of technical information.
• Knowledge of documentation and testing procedures; able to analyze data.
• Ability to advise senior staff on functionality and efficiency in a technical context.
