Job summary

InterScripts, Inc. in Chantilly, Virginia seeks an Epic Beaker AP/CP Analyst to support, maintain, and optimize Epic Beaker AP and CP applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience with laboratory workflows, Epic Beaker configuration, testing, implementation, and production support. Active Epic Beaker AP/CP certification is mandatory and a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Beaker applications.
• Epic Beaker AP Certification – Mandatory.
• Epic Beaker CP Certification – Mandatory.
• Experience supporting laboratory operations and workflows.
• Strong understanding of pathology and LIS.
• Experience with build, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred: knowledge of HL7 and healthcare interoperability.
• Preferred: experience in hospital laboratories or healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Beaker AP and CP applications.
• Analyze lab requirements and translate into Epic solutions.
• Support laboratory workflows including specimen collection, accessioning, processing, testing, and reporting.
• Perform system build, configuration, upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with lab leadership, pathologists, clinicians, and IT teams.
• Participate in testing, validation, upgrades, go-live support.
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with standards.
• Support process improvement to enhance efficiency and patient care.
