Job summary

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks a LIS / Beaker Supervisor to lead Epic Beaker CP/AP teams. You will oversee planning, design, implementation, optimization, and support of Beaker LIS across the laboratory enterprise.

The role partners with Laboratory, Pathology, IT, vendors, and clinical operations to translate requirements into scalable, compliant technology solutions that improve quality, workflow, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least three years in a supervisory/management role.
• Beaker CP certification.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical applications software development.
• Advanced knowledge of Clinical Communications hardware and software.
• Available for 7 x 24 application support.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership for Epic Beaker application teams.
• Oversee planning, design, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and support of Beaker LIS.
• Lead governance, lifecycle management, release planning, and production support.
