Job summary

Arnold & Porter, an international law firm, seeks a Senior Manager, Business Development Training to design and execute a firmwide BD training program. The role partners with the Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer and PD team to define priorities, create structured curricula, and deliver multi‑modal programming across offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
7+ years in BD, professional services marketing, or attorney development.
Experience coaching attorneys and building BD plans.
Familiar with CRM systems and AI productivity tools.
Strong instructional design and adult learning expertise.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain a multi-level BD curriculum for all attorney levels.
Own the annual BD training calendar across offices and formats.
Lead and coordinate training sessions with internal and external facilitators.
Partner with PD, Diversity & Inclusion, and others to integrate BD training.
Provide reporting on program effectiveness and engagement.
