Job summary

Arnold & Porter seeks a Senior Manager, Business Development Training to design and execute a firmwide BD training program and to partner with senior leadership on curriculum priorities. This role will build multi-tier content for associates and partners, and oversee both internal and external programs to ensure consistency and impact.

The position reports to the Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer and may be based in New York or Washington, DC, with travel as needed to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 7 years in business development, professional services marketing, or attorney professional development.
• Experience coaching attorneys or supporting business development plans.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a comprehensive multi-level BD curriculum with learning tracks.
• Develop structured learning paths from foundational to advanced BD capabilities.
• Lead program management and delivery across offices and formats.
• Collaborate with PD, Diversity & Inclusion, and other teams on BD training integration.
• Lead onboarding training for lateral partners and associates.
