Job summary

IQ Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for Software Engineering Services in the Medical Device sector to strengthen and grow our presence in the US market.

You will cultivate lasting relationships, manage long sales cycles, and lead consultative, technically credible proposals in collaboration with engineering and delivery teams. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape strategy, track the ecosystem, and represent IQ Inc.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Business Development, ideally within Medical Devices, Digital Health, or other regulated technology environments.
• Experience selling engineering services or complex technology solutions, not off-the-shelf products.
• Knowledge of regulated medical software development at a business/customer level; FDA pathways, IEC 62304, ISO 13485 a plus.
• Expertise in prospecting, outbound sales, and lead generation.
• Relationship-driven, able to engage with technical, quality, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication/presentation skills translating technical topics to customer value.
• Structured, resilient, self-driven with ownership over opportunities and accounts.
• Willingness to travel within the US and internationally as required.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support and scale business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development for the Medical Devices domain in the US, aligned with broader strategy to pursue new business from established medical device and healthcare technology companies and startups.
• Track medical devices ecosystem to identify where the company’s safety-critical software expertise stands out.
• Work inbound leads and target outbound ones, engaging the right decision-makers directly.
• Build trust with engineering, quality leads, business and executive stakeholders.
• Own consultative sales cycles from discovery through close.
• Collaborate with engineering/delivery to build technically credible proposals.
• Introduce structure with process, methodology, and forecasting; contribute to account planning and growth.
• Represent the company in meetings, industry events, and medical technology forums.
