Job summary

IQVIA, a global leader in clinical research services and healthcare analytics, seeks a senior sales professional to drive new business for a key product specialty. The role requires deep product knowledge, strategic account planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to win proposals and close deals.

Ideal candidates have extensive sales or account management experience, excellent presentation and writing skills, and a proven ability to identify and close opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 8+ years sales or account management experience.
• Knowledge of key pharmaceutical marketplace issues.
• Deep knowledge of IQVIA specialty products and related client processes.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills, with urgency and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience identifying and closing new business opportunities and building relationships at all levels.
• Willingness to travel ~40%.

Responsibilities

• Achieves growth and revenue targets for assigned product through a consultative sales approach.
• Strengthens in-depth knowledge of product and its enterprise application.
• Collaborates with Account Directors to plan account strategy for the product area.
• Works with Customer Team to target and validate opportunities in territory.
• Interfaces with customers at all levels and presents proposals.
• Gathers resources to develop proposals that position IQVIA capabilities.
• Monitors delivery, implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Pursues “starburst” opportunities within existing customers to grow revenue.
