Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Business Development Director — Safety & Regulatory Solutions to drive sales across the Safety and Regulatory product portfolio in the US. The role involves full-cycle sales, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, with collaboration across product and services teams.

Must have 6+ years in pharma/biotech/medical device/CRO sales, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 50%. Bachelor’s degree required; SaaS experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of successful sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical device/CRO sectors.
• Proven track record selling professional services to senior management.
• Full sales cycle experience: prospect, identify opportunities, propose solutions, negotiate, close.
• Strong written and verbal English; proposal writing experience.
• Willing to travel throughout the US, up to 50%.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect accounts focusing on Safety and Regulatory products and services.
• Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on existing leads.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key target accounts.
• Manage assigned accounts to generate incremental and repeatable annual business.
• Initiate and manage RFI and RFP processes and negotiate terms.
• Collaborate with the Professional Services Organization to deliver software and service solutions.
• Expand sale of product portfolio in the Safety and Regulatory market.
• Collaborate with Executives and SMEs to maximize account coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of changing regulatory guidelines and mandates.
