Friedman Williams is partnering with a global law firm to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager for the Energy & Infrastructure practice in the United States. This partner-facing role acts as the primary BD and marketing contact for partners, coordinating responses to proposals, events, collateral, client targeting, and media opportunities with the communications team.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of legal or professional services experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of energy and infrastructure sectors; experience in these sectors preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail and strong client focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with partners, associates, BD colleagues, and clients.
• Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize while handling multiple deadlines.
• Proven track record of achieving strategic objectives and allocating people/financial resources.
• Experience with budgeting and writing business cases is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• LatAm region knowledge and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to BD/marketing resource for U.S. Energy & Infrastructure partners.
• Respond to client proposals and coordinate involvement in firmwide initiatives.
• Oversee sponsorships and event management; coordinate collateral creation and management.
• Lead client targeting exercises and drive media opportunities with the communications team.
• Contribute to thought leadership and legal directory submissions.
