Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP, a premier global law firm, invites applications for the Business Development Manager II – Complex Commercial Litigation role in New York.

This position drives and supports BD objectives for the Complex Commercial Litigation practice, strengthening internal and external brand and winning new business, serving as the lead BD resource to Practice Group Chairs, and coordinating market plans.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of business development experience.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firm resources to analyze practice and industry trends and plan client targeting.
• Partner with global PR to publicize matters and promote the practice locally and regionally.
• Stay informed of developments and leverage knowledge of lawyers, practice groups, clients, and industry trends.
• Draft and maintain content and rankings for proposals and manage BD materials with partners and staff.
• Develop global submissions and identify local opportunities for thought leadership and branding.
