Job summary

Latham & Watkins in New York is seeking a Business Development Manager - Litigation to support growth and client service within the practice groups and industries. The role is based in the New York office with potential hybrid scheduling.

The successful candidate will guide strategic priorities, contribute to client engagement, and collaborate with BD and Brand & Communications teams on events, thought leadership, and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of core business development and marketing principles.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide research, analysis, and reporting to identify and develop new clients and strengthen existing relationships.
• Support integration of lateral partners and development of junior partners.
• Collaborate with lawyers and BD/Brand & Communications teams on speaking opportunities, seminars, sponsorships, and webinars.
• Identify thought leadership opportunities and oversee execution of client alerts, publications, and events.
• Develop systematic approach for distributing passes to conferences and sponsor organizations.
• Protect confidentiality and sensitive information in line with firm policies.
