Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Business Development Senior Specialist – Global Litigation & Trial to join the BD team across multiple offices. You will develop and execute strategies for the Litigation & Trial practice groups, maintaining in-depth knowledge of the firm’s market position and client base.

The role requires at least four years of BD experience and two years in litigation practice at a law firm, with a hybrid schedule across offices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the litigation landscape and market trends.
• Ability to execute multiple work streams and manage priorities.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of developments and trends at the intersection of litigation and technology, and inform about major new clients and matters.
• Provide research, analysis, and reporting to support identification and development of new clients and enhancement of existing client relationships.
• Support practice groups with analysis and reporting of competition, market trends, internal financial information, business opportunities, and pitch activity globally and by region.
• Collaborate with lawyers, BD, and PR teams on speaking opportunities, webinars, and visibility initiatives.
• Disseminate sector, market, and client trends internally.
• Protect and maintain confidential and proprietary information.
