Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Senior Principal, Business Development to identify, develop, and grow strategic opportunities in unmanned and counter-UAS markets for the MCC sector. You will shape customer requirements, expand UAV integrations, and drive adoption across manufacturers with cross-functional teams.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building, and leadership in partnerships with DoW and other customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of related experience.
• Graduate Degree with 13+ years of related experience; in lieu of degree, 19+ years experience.
• Experience working with DoW, government agencies, or international defense markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with key customers and platform providers.
• Gather and translate customer requirements into actionable insights for integration.
• Drive customer demand and product adoption through engagement and solution development.
• Develop relationships with UAV manufacturers and leadership teams.
• Travel up to 50% (domestic and international).
