Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United States seeks a Business Development Executive for Mid-Corporate Banking to grow and retain profitable relationships, while championing innovation and a customer-centric mindset.

You will lead the region's prospecting, coordinate with Banking, Credit, Treasury, and product partners, and drive revenue through client acquisition, mentoring the banking team, and cross-selling to cross-sell existing clients when appropriate.

Qualifications

• 10 years of direct client management, lending, credit support, or similar industry related experience.
• FINRA Series 63, 79 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or ability to obtain licenses within 180 days of hire.
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services.
• Experience in cross-selling products, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong business development skills; including tactical selling and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Banking, Credit, Treasury and Service partners, as well as Asset Management and Investment Bank colleagues, to introduce our prospects to our product capabilities.
• Propel top line revenues while maximizing efficiency for the business, with a keen eye towards risk mitigation and compliance.
• Serve as mentor and coach to the banking team and lead the region’s prospecting activities. This may include cross-selling of existing clients when appropriate.
• Measure success by your effectiveness in many marketing areas, including but not limited to: calling activity, proposal generation, revenue generation, risk mitigation, ability to build successful relationships with centers of influence, and propensity to help build the franchise for the long term.
