Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to lead full lifecycle CGT/CDMO deals, from target and qualify to shape and close, across a global footprint. You will sit in the US, with a focus on building strategic partnerships and enabling scalable, GMP-ready solutions.

You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements, shape enterprise proposals, and accelerate sponsor timelines while aligning with Legal, Marketing, and Market Intelligence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior-level business development within biopharma/CDMO.
• Existing network across biopharma and CGT ecosystems.
• Proven pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long-cycle enterprise sales.
• Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory and close high-value CGT/CDMO opportunities.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across multiple stakeholders from R&D to QA/RA and Legal.
• Translate science to value by positioning capabilities including tech transfer, GMP manufacturing, and PPQ.
• Build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders; develop territory plans and win strategies.
• Shape and negotiate contracts with Legal and Commercial Solutions to land compliant deals.
• Represent the brand at conferences and drive qualified pipeline through strategic engagement.
