Job summary

Cap City Supported Living in Columbus, OH seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA) to lead ABA therapy programs for children. You will supervise staff, develop and implement treatment plans, and ensure ethical standards and fidelity across settings.

You will complete FBAs/FA, design skill acquisition protocols, analyze data, train parents and professionals, and collaborate with schools and therapists to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold a certification as a BCBA or BCaBA and be in good standing with the BACB®.
• Hold a COBA licence.
• Experience with designing treatment protocols, behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs using behavior analytic principles with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
• Experience collaborating with other professionals and therapists to implement ABA in home, community, and school settings.
• Experience delivering direct instruction/implementation of skill & behavior protocols.
• Experience training staff, parents, and direct care workers in ABA implementation.
• Completion of BACB supervision and ethics requirements.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular training and support to direct care staff implementing treatment protocols in home, school, and community settings.
• Complete FBAs, FA, and design behavior intervention plans with follow-through and support for correct implementation.
• Design skill acquisition protocols developing communication, social skills, independence, and behavior skills.
• Regularly review and analyze data to determine program outcomes and train staff on data collection.
• Provide oversight to cases, staff and family to ensure policies are followed and ethical practice.
• Provide regular training to parents and multidisciplinary professionals on ABA applications.
• Adhere to BACB task list, professional development, safety, and confidentiality policies.
• Work with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, and school staff for effective programs.
• Display positive attitude and professional conduct at all times.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings designated by supervisor.
