Job summary

Optimum Behavioral Health seeks a BCBA to design and oversee ABA treatment programs for clients with autism and other special needs. You will train instructors, parents, and professionals while conducting direct supervision for eligible clients in your region.

You will lead client team meetings to update treatment plans, assess needs, and write goals. You will also write assessments, attend IEP/IFSP meetings, and support funding sources. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required.
• Master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a behavior instructor implementing ABA for children with autism.
• At least 1 year experience as a behavior supervisor designing ABA programs for children with autism, and training parents/instructors.
• Knowledge of DTT, PRT/NET, VB.
• Experience with VB-MAPP, Vineland, FBA.
• Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee ABA treatment programs for clients with autism and other needs.
• Train behavior instructors, parents, and professionals to implement ABA plans.
• Conduct face-to-face supervision for clients with funding for BCBA supervision.
• Lead client team meetings to update treatment plans and support team.
• Assess treatment needs and write goals and objectives for each plan.
• Write initial assessments and progress reports for funding sources.
• Attend IEP/IFSP/transition meetings to present progress and goals.
• Consult with parents and school personnel in person, phone, or video.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and career counseling for staff.
• Train and manage behavior instructors.
