Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/ME/Manufacturing or physical sciences with an energy storage focus.
• 10+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting energy storage systems.
• Ownership of battery pack design and prototype assembly.
• Experience delivering energy storage systems from prototype to production.
• Knowledge of BMS electrical design or algorithms.
• Familiar with battery cell characterization methods and modeling in Matlab/Simulink.
• CAD familiarity (CATIA/NX/SolidWorks).
• Understanding of safety standards (UN38.3, NAVSEA S9310).

Responsibilities

• Own End-to-End ESS delivery from concept to production.
• Serve as core interface between Core Battery Group and internal product teams.
• Define ESS requirements from user stories/CONOPs.
• Lead battery cell selection with accelerated de-risking.
• Lead design iterations with mechanical engineers.
• Support manufacturing ramp with DFMEAs.
• Hands-on battery bring-up, testing, and vehicle integration.
• Perform root cause analysis on fielded ESS.
