Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Battery Engineer to lead energy storage development for drone platforms. You will own battery pack design from concept to production, direct cell selection, and collaborate with mechanical engineers to mature production packs.
The role includes scaling from prototype revisions to full production and hands-on testing. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ESS design, a relevant engineering degree, and familiarity with BMS, cell characterization, and CAD tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 5+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting energy storage systems.
- Experience owning battery pack design and prototype assembly.
- Track record delivering high-performance ESS from prototype to production.
Responsibilities
- Own End-to-End ESS Delivery from concept to production with cost, performance, and reliability targets.
- Serve as core interface between Core Battery Group and product teams; share expertise across the company.
- Translate user stories/CONOPs into actionable ESS requirements.
