Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Battery Engineer to own energy storage system development from concept to production for next‑generation drone products. You will be the primary technical owner of ESS delivery, interfacing between the Core Battery Group and internal product teams.

You will drive cell selection, guide design iterations with mechanical engineering, and support manufacturing ramp while conducting hands‑on bring‑up, test, and integration tasks across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years designing energy storage systems.
• Ownership of battery pack design and prototype assembly.
• Experience delivering high‑performance energy storage systems with technical ownership.
• Proven contributions to moving energy storage from prototype to production.
• Awareness of BMS design/validation and cell characterization basics.
• CAD familiarity with CATIA/NX/SolidWorks and safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own End-to-End ESS delivery from concept to production on accelerated timelines.
• Serve as the Core interface between Core Battery Group and internal product teams.
• Translate user stories/CONOPs into actionable ESS requirements.
• Lead battery cell selection with rapid de-risking and validation.
• Partner with mechanical engineers on design iterations and DFMEA.
• Support manufacturing ramp and validation for production packs.
