Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Battery Engineer to lead end-to-end energy storage system development for next-generation drone products. You will own battery packs from cell selection to production, interfacing between the Core Battery Group and product teams, and driving fast, high-stakes engineering work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in energy storage design, testing and troubleshooting.
Experience owning battery pack design from concept to production.
Proven track record delivering high-performance ESS with deep technical ownership.
Experience advancing energy storage systems from prototype to production.
Knowledge of BMS design, algorithms, and validation.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end ESS delivery from concept to production on accelerated timelines.
Serve as the core interface between the Core Battery Group and product teams.
Translate user stories/CONOPs into ESS requirements.
Lead cell selection with accelerated de-risking and validation.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers on design iterations and production packs.
Support manufacturing ramp and DFMEAs for reliability.
