Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is recruiting for a Production Supervisor role with a major food manufacturer in North Carolina's bakery operation. This on-site, full-time position oversees a team of 15–25 employees across first, second, and third shifts to deliver safe, high-quality products and meet production goals.

You will lead daily activities, coach staff, maintain food safety standards, monitor performance, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in food manufacturing, especially bakery or frozen foods.
• Proven ability to lead and hold employees accountable.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees with clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
