Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking Production Supervisors for a major bakery operation. This on-site role covers first, second, and third shifts and leads a team of 15–25 production employees to deliver safe, high-quality products while meeting goals.

You will oversee daily production activities, coach staff, ensure GMPs and safety, monitor performance, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Strong ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
