Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking Production Supervisors for a well-established food manufacturer in Rocky Mount, NC. The role leads a team of 15–25 production employees across first, second, and third shifts, driving safety, quality, and efficiency in bakery operations.

You will coach and develop staff, coordinate with maintenance and QA, and ensure adherence to GMPs and food safety standards while meeting daily production goals. On-site position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
