Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend for the Coinbase One team. You will own the backend systems powering the membership lifecycle, including sign-up flows, subscription management, and recurring payment processing.

You will collaborate with frontend, product, design, and payments teams to ship customer-facing features across the Coinbase retail app. The role emphasizes designing scalable APIs, reliable distributed systems, and high-quality production services.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience shipping production services.
• Experience with subscription, payments, or commerce systems.
• Proficiency in Go or a similar language with Go-centric adaptation.
• Designing APIs and distributed systems across web and mobile.
• Ability to scope and deliver with minimal supervision across teams.
• Responsible use of AI to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Own backend services for Coinbase One lifecycle: sign-up, subscriptions, payments.
• Build scalable platform capabilities for targeted benefits and promotions.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, design, and payments teams from concept to production.
• Drive architecture decisions for reliability and extensibility across the stack.
• Improve service observability, reliability, and performance; resolve production issues.
