Hims & Hers is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Backend) in the United States. You will lead scalable backend solutions, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions across distributed services to deliver high-performance platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define product features, and champion observability, security, and reliability. Remote-friendly, with a focus on building scalable health and wellness tech.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years as a software engineer with production code
• 3+ years designing and delivering backend distributed systems
• 3+ years of experience with microservice architectures
• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience building scalable web applications in cloud environments
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and AWS deployment of microservices
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, unit tests, and end-to-end tests
• Experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects without heavy supervision
