With 8+ years in backend systems and experience in AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes, you will own operations, write high-quality code, and guide others. This role emphasizes ownership, architecture, and cross-team impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale.
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, Spark and Kubernetes.
• Experience in financial systems, ledgering, treasury or related domains.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code that others can use.
• Thrive in ambiguity and understand large system architectures.
• Strong communication across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for your team on a year-long time scale.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics across the lifecycle.
• Act as a force-multiplier by defining and advocating technical solutions and processes.
• Own team operations and availability with monitoring, on-call and playbooks.
• Establish code review and design standards and promote them across the org.
• Mentor and develop talent by giving feedback and leading by example.
