Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer for Customer Experience Intelligence to architect and deliver an AI-native vertical workflow platform. You will design backend systems that orchestrate AI agents, humans, and enterprise tools across ticket-based workflows.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Extensive backend development experience building high-throughput production systems.
• Proven experience deploying enterprise-grade backend infrastructure, microservices, and robust APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Agentic Ecosystem and backend infrastructure for the next-generation enterprise framework.
• Scale the platform to multiple domains beyond Customer Support and into IT, Security, Compliance, Marketing, HR, and more.
• Drive reliability, safety, throughput, and maintainability in agentic-based systems.
