Coinbase, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Coinbase Advisor team within the Consumer & Business group. You will own backend services powering Coinbase Advisor and Strategies, ensuring fast, auditable execution of agentic trading for millions of users.

The role focuses on backend on a full-stack team, with collaboration across frontend, product, design, and compliance, while maintaining safety and reliability in a regulated environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong API design and distributed systems skills.
• Proficiency in Go or quick learner with Go.
• Experience building production LLM or agentic systems.
• Ability to drive ambiguous projects from zero to production with sound judgment.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Mansioni

• Own backend services powering Coinbase Advisor and Strategies from design to launch and operation.
• Build integrations with Coinbase trading APIs for correct execution.
• Develop agentic harness including tool calling, orchestration, state, and recovery.
• Shape agent behavior through prompts, evals, and conversation analysis with the adviser.
• Improve service reliability, latency, observability, and safety including retries and duplicates safeguards.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, design, trading infra, and legal/compliance within guardrails.
