Scribd, Inc. is hiring an engineering manager for Content Foundations to own how content enters Scribd. This leadership role sits at the intersection of large-scale data infrastructure and AI-native ingestion, with responsibilities across platform vision and reliability.

You’ll lead backend and AI data engineers, shape the team’s culture and standards, and partner with product and engineering leaders to deliver a real-time ingestion platform that powers Scribd’s growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with leadership experience in backend/platform teams.
• Deep expertise in high-throughput distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Experience applying AI/ML in production environments and integrating models into systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision for content ingestion and real-time AI-native pipelines.
