Job summary

ISOFT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Contract-to-Hire) to support shipment tracking and visibility initiatives remotely in the United States. The role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements, align product roadmaps, and ensure data flow quality across TMS/WMS and carrier integrations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of BA experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Jira, Visio, and MS Office.

Qualifications

5 years of Business Analysis experience.
3--5 years of experience in Agile environments with user story and acceptance criteria development.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across business and IT teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Jira and Outlook.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for Shipment Tracking and visibility solutions.
Lead requirements, process analysis, and enhancement efforts for visibility initiatives.
Partner with transportation and logistics teams to improve tracking accuracy and reporting.
Collaborate with vendors to identify issues and support integration improvements.
Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts within visibility, TMS, WMS, and carrier integrations.
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, demos, and retrospectives.
Prepare and maintain clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate and lead UAT for Shipment Tracking and related deliverables.
Support functional testing and production deployments as required.
