Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to drive Azure-based infrastructure design, deployment, and automation. You will implement IaC with Terraform, automate with Python and Bash, and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.

You will mentor engineers, optimize costs, and collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions. This role offers remote work options and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with expertise in Azure, including compute, storage, monitoring, networking, and security.
• Terraform modules design, state management, and IaC pipelines at scale.
• Scripting in Python with automation frameworks; strong Bash scripting and Linux admin.
• Production experience with Jenkins, pipelines, Groovy scripts, and GitHub Actions.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience for containerized deployments and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation and cost optimization.
• Develop reusable IaC modules and Terraform frameworks.
• Create advanced automation using Python and Bash for provisioning and config management.
• Maintain shell scripts for Linux orchestration and automation workflows.
• Administer and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Groovy-based pipelines.
• Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes environments for production deployments.
• Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to translate requirements into secure cloud architectures.
• Establish and enforce cloud security best practices and governance.
