Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead Azure-based cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and automation. You will develop reusable Terraform modules, automate provisioning with Python and Bash, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

You will mentor junior engineers and ensure secure, scalable, cost-efficient cloud solutions. You will collaborate with DevOps and security teams, establish architectural standards, and continuously improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure and related services.
• Design and development of Terraform modules and IaC pipelines at scale.
• Proficient in Python and Bash for automation frameworks and integrations.
• Production experience with Jenkins and Kubernetes, including pipelines.
• Strong Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
• Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
• Willingness to obtain Azure/AWS certifications within first year.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure with automation focus.
• Architect reusable IaC modules and frameworks using Terraform.
• Develop automation via Python and Bash for provisioning and configuration.
• Maintain Linux shell scripts for orchestration and workflows.
• Administer CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions with Groovy scripts.
• Build Docker and Kubernetes environments for production deployments.
• Lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into secure cloud architectures.
• Establish cloud security best practices and governance.
• Create comprehensive documentation and runbooks.
