Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead design, deployment, and automation of Azure-based cloud infrastructure. You will develop reusable Terraform modules, write Python/Bash automation, and manage CI/CD with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

You’ll mentor engineers and shape security and cost-optimized cloud architectures. You will collaborate with DevOps and security teams to deliver scalable, compliant cloud solutions and establish architectural standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure and related services.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms - Intermediate.
• Designing and implementing Terraform modules, managing state, and building IaC pipelines at scale.
• Scripting in Python with automation frameworks and integrations.
• Advanced Bash scripting and Linux system administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure with automation and cost optimization.
• Develop reusable IaC modules using Terraform and manage state.
• Create automation solutions using Python and Bash for provisioning and configuration.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions with Groovy scripts.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments for production deployments.
• Lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive cloud security best practices.
