Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to partner with strategic Financial Institutions and Credit Unions accounts. You will lead AWS technical strategy across GenAI, Cloud Migration, ProServe, and Connect engagements as the technical advisory for multi-million-dollar relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in a customer-facing architecture role, deep AWS breadth, and experience with regulated FinServ environments.

Qualifications

5+ years of customer-facing technical-advisor or Solutions Architect experience.
Deep multi-service AWS technical breadth with GenAI on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
Experience in regulated FinServ contexts and security‑architecture engagements.

Responsibilities

Own the customer's AWS architectural roadmap end-to-end — discovery → reference architecture → PoC design → production launch → handoff to CSM.
Publish Architecture Documents and security/compliance artifacts adopted as canonical records.
Collaborate with AWS Professional Services on ProServe engagements and provide architectural input throughout.
Translate customer mission and regulatory environment into AWS decisions.
Coordinate with AE and drive multi-pillar opportunity pipeline and forecast integrity.
Travel 25–35% for in-person briefings, workshops, and executive engagements.
