Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr Solutions Architect for Strategic Accounts in Arlington, VA. You will design highly resilient, secure AWS architectures for large financial institutions and modernize core banking, payments, and risk systems at global scale.

You’ll translate regulatory and business challenges into cloud solutions, mentor teams, and influence service roadmaps while engaging C-suite and technical stakeholders across the customer ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g. cloud computing, software development, systems engineering).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own complex end-to-end solutions, delivering mission-critical architectures.
• Lead technical strategy and advocacy with customer teams to align technical and business outcomes.
• Prove value with hands-on architecture, demos and proof-of-concept work.
• Create reusable technical content to enable teams to adopt best practices.
• Build consensus across stakeholders and drive unified execution.
