Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to partner with a territory of strategic customers in the NFICU sub-vertical.

You will be the technical advisor translating customer mission, regulatory needs, and operating models into durable AWS architectures, shaping multi-pillar engagements across GenAI, Cloud Migration, Pro Services, and Connect. Travel 25-35% for executive briefings and reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer's AWS architectural roadmap end-to-end — discovery → reference architecture → proof-of-concept design → production launch.
• Publish the Workload Solution Document, Architecture Decision Records, and security/compliance artifacts adopted by the customer.
• Collaborate with AWS Professional Services on ProServe engagements and provide architectural guidance throughout.
• Translate customer mission, regulatory environment, and operating model into AWS architectural decisions.
• Coordinate with the AE for weekly standups, monthly reviews, and quarterly planning to advance multi-pillar opportunities.
